Following guidance issued by the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health, All Shepherds has returned to worship in the sanctuary. We hold a traditional service at 8:00 am, a blended service at 9:30 am, and a contemporary service at 11:11 am. We will also livestream the 9:30 and 11:11 services on our YouTube channel. Please read our back-to-worship information for more information on our safety protocols.

Should this situation change, we will share more information with you as quickly as we can. Please stay in touch and pay attention to emails and our social media platforms for the latest information.

WORSHIP & MUSIC

We have returned to worship in the sanctuary. A traditional worship service will be held at 8:00 am, a blended service at 9:30 am, and a contemporary service will be held at 11:11 am. Read more about the safety protocols we have in place..

The 9:30 & 11:11 worship services are livestreamed on our YouTube channel. Services are also posted here on the website.

We know online and social distanced worship is not the same. But the need and call for us to worship cannot be stopped by the obstacles and challenges before us. We are learning as we go, so please encourage us by joining and practicing patience as we learn this new technology and way of worshipping together.

Giving Ministry.jpg

GIVING

Remember the church.  As we transition through very trying times, we need to remember our faith in God and the many blessings that we have received. While we are working diligently to broadcast our services online, we realize we cannot pass a virtual offering plate. But that doesn’t mean your financial support needs to stop. Our faith community is going to need our ministry support more than ever over the coming months, and we cannot keep that ministry going without your support. And, we will continue to have bills that must be paid. We are working with our mortgage holder to discuss this expense, and we have adjusted the thermostat to reduce our heating bills. But many other financial obligations remain. We are asking our members to please continue to financially support All Shepherds during this period. You can send checks to the church office or set up electronic payments through Tithe.ly or Vanco. More details on both are included below. You can download the ELCA Giving (Tithe.ly) app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store (search for ELCA Giving). You can also make a Tithe.ly contribution online by visiting http://www.allshepherds.org/electronic-giving. Together, we will ensure our future.

ENCOURAGING.jpg

SERVING & ENCOURAGING

Your Serving and Encouraging Ministries are here for you! We want to help each other during this uncertain time. Please contact the church office if you are willing to 1) make phone calls to check in on other Shepherds or 2) shop for and deliver supplies to people isolating at home. (Please, only sign up for this if you are NOT considered high risk due to age or medical conditions!)  Many of you have already contacted us about your availability to serve; you don't need to contact us again unless your situation has changed.

If you want to be sure you receive regular check-in calls, let us know! And you don't have to be in a high-risk group to appreciate a friendly call during stressful and challenging circumstances. Also, if you need food or supplies delivered to you in the next few days, please let us know that. We are setting up a process to facilitate this going forward which we will announce soon, but don't wait if you are in need. We have people willing to help now.

INVITING.jpg

INVITING

During this challenging time, many are searching for a place to connect. Please invite your friends and family to join our online community. Share our Facebook posts on your personal pages, invite others to like our Facebook page, encourage others to subscribe to our YouTube channel and watch our online services.

PRAYING.jpg

PRAYING

Gracious God, it is good for us to gather as your beloved in community. We treasure your presence with us in word and meal, song and prayer. Be with us in these days when gathering together as often as we would like is not possible. When we must be apart for reasons of safety, we trust that you surround us with your sheltering wings. Encourage us in connecting as we are able, reaching out to our neighbors in need and being persistent in prayer. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our constant companion. Amen.

If you have a specific prayer request, you can submit it online or send a request to prayers@allshepherds.org.
