Praying

The Praying Ministry helps you grow your prayer life by providing prayer support, as well as teaching, training and equipping members of the congregation to engage intentionally in prayer, contemplatively, meditatively and vocally.

As Christians, we are encouraged to love one another, rejoice in the Lord and pray without ceasing. Prayer is our connection with our Father, to communicate with Him what is going on in our lives and the life of our congregation, and to listen as He leads us by the Holy Spirit. Prayer is an expression of our love for God and for one another. Through prayer, we encourage and nurture a stronger, deeper relationship with God; and, In prayer, we intercede for and support one another.

As believers, we are called to pray for one another and we need all of our members to join together in the prayer life of our congregation. By joining the Praying Ministry Team, and praying for your brothers and sisters in Christ, you have many opportunities to be a blessing and to be blessed. You can choose your involvement based on your availability, level of comfort, and guidance from the Holy Spirit.
